Iranian Culinary Expert

Veggur restaurant and guesthouse is looking for two persons who meet the following criteria

Main responsibilities
• Developing menus showcasing the flavors of Iran in a fusion with Icelandic food tradition and heritage.
• Introducing and curating an enticing menu featuring authentic Iranian cuisine alongside existing offerings.
• Contribute to driving tourism growth by developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with our team to design immersive cultural experiences and excursions highlighting the allure of Icelandic landscapes and Iranian culinary traditions.

Requirements:
• More than 2 years of extensive experience in Iranian restaurant management
• Profound knowledge and appreciation of Iranian cuisine, with hands-on experience in preparing and presenting authentic dishes.
• Strong background in ecotourism, sustainable tourism, and hospitality, with a keen understanding of guest expectations and a commitment to exceeding them.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset, with a passion for exploring new culinary horizons and cultivating memorable experiences.
• Willing to live remotely, in the countryside in the North of Iceland and sharing accommodation with others.
• knowledge of Icelandic and english is an advantage.
