Unemployment by gender: The unemployment by men was 2, 2% in April 2016, down from 2,5% in March 2016. The unemployment by women was 2,9% in April 2016 or down from 3,1% in March 2016 but down from 3,9% in April 2015.
The unemployment by young people: There were 660 young 18-24 years unemployed in April 2016 or down from 723 in March 2016 but down from 1.000 in April 2015.
The long term unemployed:There were 1.068 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in April 2016 or down from 1.093 in March 2016.
Open vacancies: There were 370 open vacancies in April 2016 or up with 71 from March 2016 and up with 41 from April 2015.
Work permits: There were 55 new open work permits issued in April 2016 or up with 25 new work permits from March 2016.
The unemployment forecast for May 2016: It is expected that the unemployment rate will reduce due to seasonal fluctuations in May 2016 and be between 2,2% and 2,4%.
