Information regarding working hours and employment ratio
Employee’s right to unemployment benefits is based on the period of employment and employment rate for the last 12 months approximately of employment before the registered unemployment date.
Therefore, up to 12 months of work must be registered on the certificate in the last 36 months before the first registered date of employment and this shall be separated according to employment rate and or interruption of employment periods, if any.
The right of students who have completed their studies to unemployment benefits is based on the 12 months the applicant worked in the domestic labour market in the last 84 months.
Retirement information
Seven options are provided on the form. The employer can also write a more detailed explanation for retirement if additional explanations are needed.
If an employee received severance pay, the amount and /or the number of months the person received payment for, must be stated on the certificate.
Information regarding payments to trade unions and pension funds.
It must be stated to which trade union the employee in question paid membership fees, as well as the pension fund and private pension fund if that was the case.
