Confirmation that you are seeking employment
Job seekers are required to confirm their job search between the 20th and 25th of each month. This is done via My pages.
When you confirm between 20th and 25th:
Payments to job seekers who confirm their job search between the 20th and 25th of each month will be made on the first working day of the month.
When you confirm between the 26th and the 3rd:
Payments to job seekers who confirm their job search between the 26th and the 3rd day of the next month are not made until 5 working days after the first working day of the month.
If you confirm after the 3rd day of the next month:
Payments to job seekers who confirm their job search after the 3rd day of the next month will be made on the on the first working day of the next month.
When confirming their job search, the applicant must confirm that they are still unemployed and actively seeking employment. Upon confirmation, any necessary information can be provided to The Directorate of Labour, i.e. regarding incidental part-time employment.
Those who fail to confirm their job search within the specified period will be deregistered from the unemployment registry.
