Arrangement of maternity/paternity grant

• 2021: A parent is permitted to split the maternity/paternity grant payment period into more than one period. The minimum period is two weeks.
• 2019 and 2020: It is not permitted to divide the grant into more than one period unless the parent has started working in the domestic labour market before the birth of a child, primary adoption or permanent foster care, and is therefore entitled to maternity/paternity leave rather than payment of a maternity/paternity grant.
