Registered unemployment was 2,4% in September 2015 or down from 2,6% in August 2015 and down from 3% in September 2014.
There were in average 4.120 unemployed in September 2015 or down with 377 from August 2015.
Unemployment by gender:
The unemployment by men was 2% in September 2015, the same as in August 2015 but down from 2,5% in September 2014. The unemployment by women was 2,9% in September 2015 or down from 3,2% in August 2015 but down from 3,6% in September 2014.
The unemployment by young people:
There were 596 young 18-24 years unemployed in September 2015 or down from 640 in August 2015 but down from 771 in September 2014.
The longterm unemployed:
There were 1.058 longterm unemployed (over 1 year) in September 2015 or down with 76 from August 2015.
Open vacancies:
There were 296 open vacancies in September 2015 or down with 10 from August 2015 but up with 13 from September 2014.
Work permits:
There were 69 new open work permits issued in September 2015 or up with 25 new work permits from August 2015.
The unemployment forecast for October 2015:
During the autumn the seasonal fluctuation is influencing the labour market with growing unemployment. It is expected that the unemployment rate will be between 2,5% and 2,7 % in October 2015.
