Registered unemployment was 2,6% in October 2015 or up from 2,4% in September 2015 and down from 3,2% in October 2014.
There were in average 4.216 unemployed in October 2015 or up with 96 from September 2015.
Unemployment by gender:
The unemployment by men was 2,1% in October 2015, up from 2% in September 2015 but down from 2,7% in October 2014. The unemployment by women was 3,1% in October 2015 or up from 2,9% in September 2015 but down from 3,8% in October 2014.
The unemployment by young people:
There were 633 young 18-24 years unemployed in October 2015 or up from 596 in September 2015 but down from 827 in October 2014.
The longterm unemployed:
There were 1.058 longterm unemployed (over 1 year) in October 2015 the same as in September 2015.
Open vacancies:
There were 278 open vacancies in October 2015 or down with 18 from September 2015 but up with 10 from October 2014.
Work permits:
There were 29 new open work permits issued in October 2015 or down with 40 new work permits from September 2015.
The unemployment forecast for November 2015:
During the autumn the seasonal fluctuation is influencing the labour market with growing unemployment. It is expected that the unemployment rate will be between 2,6% and 2,8% in November 2015.
