Registered unemployment was 2,7% in March 2016 or down from 2,9% in February 2016 but down from 3,6% in March 2015.
There were in average 4.599 unemployed in March 2016 or down with 194 from February 2016.
Unemployment by gender: The unemployment by men was 2,5 % in March 2016, down from 2,6% in February 2016. The unemployment by women was 3,1% in March 2016 or down from 3,2% in February 2016 but down from 4,1% in March 2015.
The unemployment by young people: There were 723 young 18-24 years unemployed in March 2016 or down from 774 in February 2016 but down from 1.075 in March 2015.
The long term unemployed: There were 1.093 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in March 2016 or down from 1.095 in February 2016.
Open vacancies: There were 299 open vacancies in March 2016 or up with 28 from February 2016 and down with 14 from March 2015.
Work permits: There were 30 new open work permits issued in March 2016 or up with 4 new work permits from February 2016.
The unemployment forecast for April 2016: It is expected that the unemployment rate will reduce in April 2016 and be between
2,4% and 2,6%.
