Registered unemployment was 1,9% in September 2016 or down from 2,0% í August 2016, but down from 2,4% in September 2015.
There were in average 3.286 unemployed in September 2016 or down with 267 from August 2016.
Unemployment by gender:
The unemployment by men was 1,5% in September 2016, the same as in August 2016. The unemployment by women was 2,3% in September 2016 or down from 2,5% in August 2016.
The unemployment by young people:
There were 417 young 18-24 years unemployed in September 2016 or down from 443 in August 2016 but down from 596 in September 2015.
The long term unemployed:
There were 922 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in September 2016 or down from 973 in August 2016.
Open vacancies:
There were 505 open vacancies in September 2016 or up with 24 from August 2016 and up with 209 from September 2015.
Work permits:
There were 112 new open work permits issued in September 2016 or up with 65 new work permits from August 2016.
The unemployment forecast for October 2016:
It is expected that the unemployment rate will not change considerable in October 2016 and be between 1,9% and 2,1%.
