The unemployment by men was 1,5% in June 2017, or down from 1,7% in May 2017. The unemployment by women was 2,1% in June 2017 or down from 2,2% in May 2017.
The unemployment by young people:
There were 424 young, aged 18-24 years unemployed in June 2017 or down from 446 in May 2017.
The long term unemployed:
There were 813 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in June 2017 which was the same number as in May 2017.
Open vacancies:
There were 222 new incoming open vacancies in June 2017, but in May 2017 there were 315 new incoming open vacancies.
Foreign workers:
There were in total 183 work permits (all types of work permits) issued in June 2017 but 162 in May 2017. There were 43 foreign service companies registered to Directorate of Labour in June 2017.
These foreign service companies employed 533 workers.
There were 29 Temporary-work agencies registered to Directorate of Labour in June 2017.
These Temporary-work agencies hired out 1.568 workers in June 2017.
The unemployment forecast for July 2017:
