Unemployment by gender:
The unemployment by men increased in February with 0,2 percent point from January and by 0,1 percent point for women and was 5,2% for men and 4,7% for women in February 2020.
The unemployment by young people:
There were 1.209 young, aged 18-24 years unemployed in February 2020 or up from 1.205 in January 2020.
The long term unemployed:
There were 1.893 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in February 2020, or up from 1.771 in January 2020.
Open vacancies:
There were 132 new incoming open vacancies in February 2020 or up from 120 new incoming open vacancies in January 2020.
Foreign workers:
There were in total 163 work permits (all types of work permits) issued in February 2020 or up from 120 in January 2020. There were 35 foreign service companies registered to Directorate of Labour in February 2020. These foreign service companies employed 165 workers in February 2020.
There were 20 temporary-work agencies registered to Directorate of Labour in February 2020.
These temporary-work agencies hired out 533 workers in February 2020.
