Learning Icelandic fall 2020 in the Capital area
The Directorate of Labour will refund in full (100%) one Icelandic course for each jobseeker this fall semester.
To sign up for an Icelandic course you need to register directly with the school. See a list of language schools in the Capital area here: https://www.vinnumalastofnun.is/en/counselling-studies-and-courses/studies-and-courses
After you have signed up and payed for a course send a copy of the invoice to international@vmst.is for a refund.
Please note that you need to have a confirmed application for unemployment benefits to get a refund.
