The general unemployment decreased from 9,1% in May to 7,4% in June but the labour market measure with reduced unemployment came to an end on May 31th.

There were 5.818 long term unemployed (over 1 year general unemployment in June 2021) down from 6.430 in May 2021.
Open vacancies:
There were 1.854 new incoming open vacancies in June 2021 or down from 4.018 new incoming open vacancies in May 2021.
Foreign workers:
There were 197 work permits (all types of work permit) issued in June 2021 up from 124 issued work permits in May 2021. There were 28 foreign service companies registered to Directorate of Labour in June 2021. These foreign service companies employed 153 workers in June 2021.
There were 18 temporary-work agencies registered to Directorate of Labour in June 2021.
These temporary-work agencies hired out 353 workers in June 2021.

July 2021:
It is expected that the unemployment in July 2021 will reduce and be between 6,3% and 6,8%.
