There were 892 young, aged 18-24 years unemployed in April 2022 or down with 107 from March.
The long term unemployed:
There were 3.087 long term unemployed (over 1 year) in April 2022 or down with 173 from March.
Open vacancies:
There were 760 new incoming open vacancies in April 2022 or up from 678 new incoming open vacancies in March.
Foreign workers:
There were 284 work permits (all types of work permits) issued in April 2022 up from 178 issued work permits in March. There were 29 foreign service companies registered to Directorate of Labour in April 2022. These foreign service companies employed 183 workers in April 2022.
There were 17 temporary-work agencies registered to Directorate of Labour in April 2022.
These temporary-work agencies hired out 478 workers in April 2022.
The unemployment forecast for May 2022:
It is expected that the unemployment in May 2022 will decrease and be between 4,0% and 4,3%.
