Unemployment by gender:

The unemployment rate for men in November was 3,5%, up from 3,2% in October. The unemployment rate for women was 3,3% in November, up from 3,1% in October.

 

Unemployment among young adults:

There were 712 young adults, aged 18-24 years unemployed in November 2023, up from 629 in October.

 

Long-term unemployment

There were 1.133 long-term unemployed (unemployed longer than 12 months) at the end of November 2023. In Oktober there were 1.137 long-term unemployed.

 

Foreign workers:

There were 356 work permits issued in November 2023.

There were 52 foreign service companies registered at The Directorate of Labour in November 2023, posting   429 workers.

There were 21 temporary work agencies registered at The Directorate of Labour in November 2023, with

705 workers.

 

Forecast for December 2023:

It is expected that the unemployment rate will be between 3,3% and 3,6% in December.
