December bonus for job seekers
Tax will be deducted from the amount. December bonus will be paid out no later than 15th of December. Unreduced December bonus in 2024 is 104.955kr.
Those who confirm their job search between 20th of November and 3rd of December 2024 and have been fully insured within the unemployment insurance system for a total of ten months or more in 2024 are entitled to the full December bonus. Those who are not fully entitled to benefits within the unemployment insurance system the bonus is calculated in proportion to their right to unemployment benefits in the year 2024 and the number of months that the person has received unemployment benefits. However, the compensation will never be lower than 24,847kr. If a jobseeker was registered as unemployed for part of November but was deregistered before November 20, you are entitled to the compensation as long as the person received unemployment benefits for November or completed a waiting period(suspension).
