Processing of application
When the requested supporting documents have been received, your application is sent to The Directorate of Labour’s the Disbursement (Payment) office for final processing.
Processing of applications can take up to 6 weeks.
Application processing:
- Applications are processed in the order in which they are received.
- Applications are reviewed and the right to benefits is assessed.
- If no further documents are requested the application is processed and the payment of unemployment benefits will begin at the end of next month if the application is approved.
If processing is postponed:
If further information and/or documents are required, the processing of the application is postponed, and the applicant is sent a letter from the Disbursement office via My pages.
