Right of appeal
Claimants can appeal disputes which may rise under the Act on The Wage Guarantee to the Ministry of Social Affairs within two months from the day the claimant received information on the fund’s decision. An appeal submitted to the Ministry or delivered by mail before the deadline will suffice.
The Ministry shall seek to deliver its ruling within two months of receipt of the case. This does not diminish the right of the party presenting the claim to seek a ruling by a court on the obligation to pay.
