The Directorate of Labour offers a variety of courses while you are receiving unemployment benefits. You can choose a course available with your service centre or attend an online course.
NOTE: There are no courses in July, but will resume in the second half of August.
Courses provided by the Directorate of Labour
The Directorate of Labour offers a variety of courses while you are receiving unemployment benefits. For more information about which courses are available in your area click on the relevant service office.
Please note that registration for a course organised by the Directorate of Labour is binding and you must meet conditions of participation and at least 80% attendance is required.
Courses for job seekers under own initiative
You can also participate in other coures not provided by The Directorate of Labour while you are unemployed. If this is a course that helps you develop skills which could increase your chances in the job market you might be able to use your study grant.
The study grant is 80.000 kr. per year, but never more than 75% of the total cost of the course.
