Audio Programmer

CCP is looking for a talented Audio Programmer to work on Project Awakening, a recently announced title set within the EVE universe!

You will be working in the development cycle for new features and technology from the initial design phase all the way to release. The position can be located in Reykjavík/London and remote work is possible for the right candidate.

Your Tasks:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems that manage and enhance audio playback
Collaborate with the Platform team to ensure the audio tool pipeline is improved & maintained Integrating audio engine changes into game branches
Understanding game-play code and facilitating the integration of audio systems and triggers
Technical support for the Audio team
Troubleshooting/bug fixing Audio issues
Working with QA to support and plan testing of sound

Your profile:
B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent field
Professional scripting experience with languages such as Python
Knowledge of C/C++
Knowledge of technical audio concepts such as audio codecs, bitrate, etc.
Experience with audio middleware Wwise
Experience with revision control systems such as Perforce
Comfortable refactoring and porting legacy code
Passion for the audio discipline, especially electronic music
