Marketing Services Director

CCP Games is looking for a talented Marketing Services Director to join our wonderful Reykjavík studio!

In this role you will be responsible for leading CCP Games' marketing efforts across multiple titles, focusing on attracting new players and retaining existing ones.

Your role will encompass user acquisition, customer lifecycle management, and managing the online store, along with localizing content for diverse markets. A key part of your job will be conducting player research to inform strategies and implementing cross-promotional and cross-selling initiatives to synergize between games, enhancing overall engagement and revenue. Your expertise in the gaming industry and strong analytical skills will be crucial in this dynamic leadership position.

Your Tasks:
- User Acquisition (UA): Strategize and oversee the development of comprehensive marketing initiatives aimed at capturing the interest of potential customers, focusing on top-of-the-funnel strategies to drive awareness and engagement. Utilize advanced analytics to refine tactics and maximize effectiveness across diverse media platforms.
- Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM): Create strategies for maintaining player engagement, enhancing their journey from acquisition to long-term loyalty.
- Store Management: Supervise the digital store's functionality, product offerings, and promotional activities to maximize sales and improve customer experience.
- Localization: Adapt game content and marketing materials to resonate with different cultural and linguistic audiences, ensuring global appeal and compliance.
- Player Research: Oversee in-depth analyses of player preferences and market trends to inform game development and marketing strategies.
- Cross-Promotions and Cross-Selling: Develop integrated marketing initiatives to promote multiple game titles simultaneously, leveraging opportunities for cross-selling to enhance player engagement and boost overall revenue.

Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Significant experience in marketing, business development, or a similar role in the gaming or tech industry.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and leverage data.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
- Passion for gaming and an understanding of the gaming community and market.
- This role is for a dynamic leader skilled in multi-title marketing strategies.
